This system is made of lightweight titanium and offers the choice between round or hexagonal tailpipes , made of a combination of titanium and carbon. (Please note: choosing one type of tailpipe is mandatory). Unique design & craftsmanship

The complex components, such as the X-connector and the specially designed collectors, are cast in Akrapovič’s own titanium foundry. This guarantees a perfect fit and top quality. The system features larger main exhaust pipes, which optimises flow and improves performance. In addition, the system does not require traditional exhaust valves. The exhaust valves are controlled via a special control module.

  By combining a special resonator, acoustic reflectors in the tailpipes, an X-connector and an additional damping element in the linkpipe, this exhaust system delivers a deep, sporty and refined sound. • Significant performance improvement
  During testing on the Akrapovič dyno, compared to a standard BMW M5 with original exhaust, the following gains were measured:

  • Power gain of 8.5 kW (11.5 hp) at 6,150 rpm

  • Increase in torque by 15.6 Nm at 2,550 rpm This improvement results in faster throttle response and a noticeably sportier driving experience.

• Weight saving
  With a weight reduction of no less than 41.1% (15.44 kg lighter than the original exhaust), you benefit from optimal weight distribution and improved handling.

Easy installation

This Akrapovič titanium exhaust system is specially developed for vehicles without petrol particulate filter (OPF/GPF) and is completely plug & play to install. No adjustment or reprogramming (remapping) of the engine management is necessary.
