Introducing our F9X X5M, G09 XM intake. This intake is the result of extensive R&D and testing to improve the flow path of the stock system. Our system is a complete redesign of the stock airboxes with the goals of reducing pressure drop, increasing flow, and keeping intake temps low. With the stock cold air intake being located at the front of the car and the turbo intakes facing towards the rear of the car, the airflow must make a 180 degree turn through each airbox, resulting in a flow restriction. To overcome this we introduced an additional cold air intake from the bulkhead resulting in a more direct flow path to the turbo intakes. The additional feeds allow for more intake flow while keeping IATs low and have the added benefit of reducing turbo noise. With the intake vents now facing the cabin, the sounds of the turbocharger and pressure relief are clearly audible, taking the driving experience to the next level.

The Eventuri Difference

The F9X X5M, G09 XM Eventuri system utilizes our patented carbon fiber housings with our custom Gen 2 filters, which provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Not just any cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that invokes the Venturi effect, maintaining laminar flow conditions to reduce turbo drag.
